Expo '74 put Spokane on the world stage, showcasing environmental awareness and innovation. Fifty years later, Homage continues that industrial spirit, fostering creativity, and promoting sustainability—values that were central to the Expo’s mission. In honoring this legacy, Homage emphasizes sustainable fashion and local collaboration, aligning with Expo's vision for a more responsible and creative future.

    A Journey Through Fashion

A study in stillness and presence, a woman walks across a concrete expanse like human punctuation.
Top-down shot of piano player in striped shirt, artistic detail capturing motion and color for November’s experimental side.
Model striding across bridge in long coat and boots, fashion-forward solitude meets Spokane’s metalwork infrastructure.
Washed-out portrait of model walking away from camera, soft haze and grain evoke 90s analog fashion shoots.
Close-up of fingers on piano keys in warm light, visual poetry meets vintage lounge energy.
Overhead group seated on concrete, passive candid scene with Wes Anderson-style symmetry.
  • The Pavilion itself became a canvas for artistic expression, its architecture symbolizing shattered barriers and untapped potential. Accompanying the visual spectacle, virtuoso pianist Archie Chen lends a hauntingly evocative soundtrack, adding depth and emotional resonance to the narrative unfolding on the runway.

The collection serves as a testament to the resilience and dynamism of Spokane's diverse community. Each garment within the "Homage" collection tells a story—a narrative of aspiration, perseverance, and collective identity. From the rugged resilience of Dickies and Carhartt to the refinement of Polo by Ralph Lauren, “Homage” transcends conventional boundaries, inviting viewers to reimagine the essence of style and class. At the heart of the runway lies the profound synergy between fashion and music, orchestrated by virtuoso pianist Archie Chen.
